But a cold shower in the middle of the road, courtesy of the Fire and Rescue Department, kept them in high spirits and patiently waited for their turn as volunteers from the Putra Medical Club of Universiti Putra Malaysia and Persatuan Perubatan Islam Malaysia (PPIM) carried out the procedure.

UPM Medical and Health Sciences Faculty dean Prof Dr Norlijah Othman said the event named, Kasih Medik Charity, involved 44 third year medical undergraduates.
"The 44 undergraduates put themselves to good use by assisting the two doctors from PPIM, who carried out the circumcision."
Dr Norlijah said the exposure at the event would help her students improve their communication skills.
